Spreading Joy: Bridging Resources Sock Exchanges

This holiday season, Bridging Resources (BR) continued its annual tradition of spreading warmth and cheer with not one but two incredible sock exchange events! These gatherings have become beloved milestones in our calendar, fostering connection, laughter, and community spirit.

🧩 4th Annual Board Members Sock Exchange

BR board members and close friends gathered for the 4th annual sock exchange. Executive Director Dalia DeLeon joined Katie Lowe, Maria Rangel, and great friend Colleen Ernst for an evening filled with laughter, conversation, and heartwarming moments.

This intimate gathering was a chance to reflect on the year’s achievements and celebrate the shared commitment to BR’s mission. The colorful and cozy socks exchanged symbolized the warmth and care that define our organization.

Until next year, we’ll carry the joy and inspiration from this special event in our hearts.

đŸ§ŠđŸŸ 5th Annual Clinic Sock Exchange

On December 13, 2024, the Texas Children’s Hospital MDA Pediatric Clinic hosted our 5th annual sock exchange, and it was nothing short of magical!

Executive Director Dalia DeLeon, Clinic Director Dr. Tim Lotze, and the wonderful clinic staff came together to make the event a success. Special guest Pluto, TCH’s therapy dog, added an extra dose of joy and comfort, making the day even more memorable.

The sock exchange brought smiles to everyone’s faces, fostering connection between the clinic staff, patients, and BR team. These small yet thoughtful exchanges exemplify the simple joys that strengthen our community ties.

🌟 Looking Ahead

Both events were a testament to the power of togetherness and the importance of uplifting one another during the holiday season. We’re so grateful for all who participated and helped make these events a success.

We’re already looking forward to next year’s sock exchanges and the wonderful moments they’ll bring!

Happy Holidays from all of us at Bridging Resources!
