A Warm Welcome: MDA Campers Arrive for an Unforgettable Week

The excitement was electric as MDA campers arrived today, marking the start of an inspiring week filled with connection, fun, and new experiences. This warm and joyful welcome was made possible through the incredible dedication and generosity of our friends, partners, and community members.

Community Heroes Who Made It Happen

We extend heartfelt thanks to:

  • Katie Lowe, Curt & Mandy Benedix, Johnny Martinez, and Niki Jamal – for their unwavering support in ensuring the campers felt celebrated from the moment they arrived.
  • Marisol & Alex Miranda – for delivering eight manual wheelchairs from Bridging Resources’ DME Loaner Closet, empowering campers to fully participate in all activities throughout the week.
  • Ludy Biggs – a proud BR mom who created the beautiful balloon arch that greeted campers with color and cheer.

Gifts to Make Camp Extra Special

Bridging Resources worked to make every camper feel cared for with a thoughtful welcome package, including:

  • Goody bags filled with treats and surprises
  • Stuffed animals generously donated by Sarah Rozelle
  • Autograph books for capturing camp memories
  • Water bottles sponsored by Angel Medical Supply

Celebrating the True Stars

While the decorations, supplies, and welcome gifts made the day bright, the true joy came from the campers themselves. Their smiles, excitement, and courage are what make this event so meaningful every year.
