Every December, Bridging Resources looks forward to a tradition that has become a meaningful reminder of connection, generosity, and joy — our Annual Crazy Sock Exchange. This year marked the 5th annual celebration, and once again, it brought smiles to many faces across two special gatherings.
Though hosted at different locations, both events shared the same purpose: coming together in the spirit of fun, kindness, and community.
Crazy Sock Exchange with Clinic Staff
MDA / Texas Children’s Hospital Pediatric Clinic – December 13
Our first sock exchange took place with the incredible clinic staff, vendors, and Bridging Resources team at the MDA / Texas Children’s Hospital Pediatric Clinic. The day was filled with laughter, colorful socks, and heartfelt appreciation for those who dedicate themselves year-round to caring for children and families.
We were honored to share this celebration alongside Clinic Director Dr. Timothy Lotze, whose leadership and commitment continue to make a lasting impact on the families served.
This gathering was a joyful pause in a demanding environment — a moment to celebrate teamwork, gratitude, and the lighter side of the season.

Crazy Sock Exchange with Board Members & Friends
La Madeleine – December 13
Later that same day, the Crazy Sock Exchange continued with our Board Members and Friends at La Madeleine. This gathering brought together longtime supporters and friends of Bridging Resources who play a vital role in helping our mission move forward.
While the location was different, the heart of the event remained the same — connection, laughter, and shared purpose. This exchange marked the 5th annual sock exchange for this group as well, making it a cherished tradition that continues to grow year after year.
